New Delhi: After receiving the all-clear from the National Cricket Academy, Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul is ready to play for his team starting in the first IPL match; however, he has been cautioned not to take wickets in the first few games.

Rahul shared a brief video of himself practicing at the NCA in the outfield, hitting, and basic keeping exercises.

After receiving approval from the NCA, he would soon go to Lucknow to be with his friends. He has been instructed not to squat at first, and in the next few days, he may put on the large gloves. He will only play as a pure hitter for the first few games, according to a BCCI source.

It’s believed that even the franchise, with Quinton de Kock and Nicholas Pooran as two excellent short-format glovemen, is getting plenty of sleep.
